Plot Details: This opinion reveals major details about the movie's plot.
I first saw this movie on Mystery Science Theater 3000, of course and later on without the quippy little remarks of Joel and our favorite bots. It could be as simple to write this off as a horrible movie, yet I may be the only person in the world that will ever recommend this movie to anyone.
Manos: The Hands of fate came out 1966 starring Tom Neyman as "The Master", John Reynolds as "Torgo", Diane Mahree as "Margaret" and Hal Warren as Michael. Its the story of a married couple and their child who gets stuck in the outback some where, seeking refuge in an eerie, isolated house, manned by the caretaker named Torgo, who keeps making references to his "Master". Things go from bad to worse when We find out that the house is the lair to some sort of being, "The Master", that traps women to have as wives and prays to a god named "Manos". Not to mention the child's cute little poodle is slaughtered, and old Torgo has a bad habit of playing peeping Tom on Margaret.
Well there really isn't much to fight for this movie about, except for the atmosphere. This movie creates a dark and depressing atmosphere, from the isolated woods, to dirty small rooms, which could be the only reason for watching it.
