This was one of my favorite movies at the Seattle International Film Festival, the year it played there.
I love the aimless rambling conversations between Dante the convenience store clerk and Randall the video-store clerk!
A few sequences are a bit slow, and the end is a bit raunchy and cruel to one of the characters, but moments like Randall swimming the tortilla chip around in the salsa, as if it were a shark's dorsal fin, carry me right along.
The audio commentary (I heard it on the laser disc, I presume it's also on the DVD) by director and cast is also funny and interesting.
