Lori Petty was the best pick for this movie. The others who tried to compete for this role were Janeane Garaffalo, Demi Moore, Drew Barrymore and Christina Applegate. No one even came close when it came time for casting. Don't get me wrong, I love the other women who tried for the role, but no one could have pulled it off like Lori.

I think Tank Girl is an excellent comic also. If you are a comic book fan and have the chance to pick one of those up, I strongly suggest you do.
