I liked all kinds of stupid movies, too. Nobody is born with good taste in movies, you have to earn it by watching good stuff like Tarantino. (Although I can see how Pulp Fiction might be hard to watch after seeing Battlefield Earth.)

i agree with you on pulp fiction, but I think you're a little hard on your friends. I haven't seen save the last dance or american pie 2, but people i respect seem to like them. And street fighter is one of my personal favorites. :) though i make no pretentions of saying that was a good movie.
nice review of a good film. and entertaiing intro.

First off, I dislike people interrupting during a movie. This movie was good. Your friend sounds like a nuisance (no offense) You did good work on this review but each time you wrote about your friend I felt he was interrupting me. Can you understand that or what? Keep on writing, you do good work...making the reader feel as part of the review.

you make the rest of us look like lame-assed writers! Truthfully, I woulda handed you that MH button, but I don't trust the damn thing plus I haven't read all the other reviews offered on this movie.
However, the scary thing is - my second reference today to Rainman, plus I just watched it last night. Will all you people get out of my head!

I knew this was going to happen... the fact is, there is no way in hell that I would've been able to describe the plot without spoiling it, in which case more people would be on my case. I understand, and I won't carry this into a long-winded argument (I saw a review with over two hundred messages... an arguement had been going on for over a year). You did what you felt was right.

Since I am the only H I guess I better tell you why I rated the way I did.
Your review is very well written-EXTREAMLY well written for a teenaged writer to boot-but I felt that if someone who had NOT seen this movie, or the movie that came before this one, read your review they wouldn't really have any idea about what the movie was about.
I guess what I'm saying is I wanted to read more about the plot(s) and the cons-which are important.
I don't expect you to re-write this review based on my rating, I just wanted to let you know where the rating came from.
Good job.
