Walken did NOT play Willis' father, but a prisoner of war mate of Willis' father.
I am surprised you made little reference to the watch retrieval part of the film, which was truly the second of two sub-plots within the movie, rather than 'multiple' . . .
Please, also, mention the names of the first TWO films written & directed by Tarantino, since you made reference to this point . . .
