Pros: shows how important family is
I just watched this movie today. I watched it a few years ago and I did not really remember it. I'm not saying because it was bad but I just forgot about it.
The premise of the movie is a man accidently kills Santa Clause. In turn, he has to become Santa. He goes to the north pole with his son. When he gets back his ex-wife and her new husband hear of this adventure and think he is going crazy.
I realized after seeing the movie that any type of family can be close. Even though this family consisted of a mom, dad, son, and mom's new husband it was still a family at the end. The Dad and Son were bonded by the Dad being Santa. Does that mean the son only liked his Dad because he was Santa? No. The son and Dad connected on a new level upon discovering their new belief in SANTA.
The Mom and Dad also discovered that they could get along without fighting.
After watching this movie it made me sort of believe in Santa too.
