Pros:Sassy to the core.
Cons:As fictional as a movie can get.
The Bottom Line: Cluless is the type of movie you would want your parents to watch, as wierd as it may seem, they might actually think its stupidly funny.

Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie's plot.

I remember when I first saw this movie in 1995...I instantly fell in love with it's fantasy characters and thier glamourous life.

Clueless...a movie with "as if's ", "whatever's ", and anything else you can think a rich 17 year old blonde would say. Cher...that's her name. Spoiled to the core, Cher is a girl who takes the rules and changes them as she see's fit.

Any girl who ever saw this movie when they were little wanted to become this perfect little prissy, sassy, beautiful girl who had the most amazing clothes and all the boys bowing to her feet.

Amy Heckerling, the writer/directer, made a fantasy highschool...many things were fictional, yet very real. The cliques like the popular group, the computer wiz's, and the punks. In Cluless, school was like a bowl of cherries. You pick and choose the way you want it to go. You can totally ignore all the teachers and talk on your cellphone while you're doing your nails. I guess this is why many teenagers today love the movie, they watch it and think, "why can't my school be that cool ", well i'm in highschool, so we think, "oh well everything we wish was put into a movie how great is that ".

The posh lives these teens live is amazing yet very dramatic. Everytime they get upset, they go spend thier daddy's money on stuff they probably will wear only once. The really funny thing is, they can get away with so many things. Cher gets away with getting good grades on her report card because she scemes up a brilliant plan so the teachers will love her. Cleverlly evil, yet at the same time that's why we love the movie.

Another funny thing is the popular girl's diets. You have to cut the meat a certain way so you won't gain weight or watch exorcize tapes to keep your girlish figure and have buns of steel like Cindy Crawford.

To Cher getting away with murder is even possible. She thinks even being a couple of months older makes you the wiser one of your group of friends. And when you're new, you have to pick the right group so you won't ruin your life or in that case fall out of place, or be an outcast. Cher, because of her amazing talent, makes pathetic girls into beautiful popular ones. Just hanging out with Cher makes you popular. But then some plans fall back on her. The drama begins, and the quest for the perfect guy begins. When her world turns upside down, she has to change her perspective and gain her popularity back. The little naive girl is out, and the smart intelligent one is in, or at least untill she gets what she wants.

As much as I can go on about Cher, there are many other characters to be told about. But then again I can always keep you hanging so you will go watch it yourself...go check it out, then maybe you'll write a review about this "Totally " outrageous movie.
