Adapted from the tv series of Highlander the Animated TV show, this animated movie tells the beginnings of Quentin MacLeod. This is based off the same world of the original movie Highlander in which Conner Macleod trains to become the last immortal. However, this is set well into the future. It is not exactly true to the whole world of Highlander, but it is just a cartoon.
After the Great Catastrophe, the remaining immortals gather together to take an oath to end the quest to be the last. All take it but Kortan, he then claims the prize for being the last which means the world is in his control, but Conner MacLeod picks up his sword and breaks his oath. Kortan kills Conner, but is then told that because of Conner's death, another immortal will come not bound by the oath.
Centuries pass, and Kortan has the world well under his control. However, one of his raid parties raids a village. A young Quentin is killed while trying to protect his mother. Him being the immortal to come, he rises some time after his death and is found by Ramirez who is bound by the oath to train him for his fight with Kortan. So, off Quentin and Ramirez go to seek out the other immortals who will give him their knowledge so he can defeat Kortan.
