This is the first review out of over sixty where I have to ask, "How come Epinions doesn't let me give something zero stars?"
If you are one of those people on Epinions that intends not to give me a 'Very Helpful' just because this review isn't over one thousand words long, I ask you to read it carefully. It is short and to the point, and is more than this piece of dreck calling itself a movie deserves!
I tried watching it, but I couldn't. It was so much more annoying than being just unentertaining that I had to turn it off. Unfortunately, there was nothing else on TV so I tried watching it some more. Instead, I ended up half-reading a magazine and half-watching this pitiful excuse for comedy.
The story primarily is about two absolute idiots who have girlfriends very into saving the environment (no, I don't know how they got them either!). These idiots don't seem to care about anything, including their girlfriends. They think the Bio-dome is a new mall, and sneak inside to use the bathroom where they get locked in for one year with the four scientists who are in there to do experiments. We then get about an hour of Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin annoying the scientists.
I think Pauly Shore is playing himself, and based upon this movie, he needs to be stopped! While trapped inside the Bio-dome, he gets to harass and disturb several conservative scientists. What we get scene after scene is Pauly & Stephen Baldwin disturbing the scientists in ways far too destructive to be at all funny.
On a positive note, Joey Adams, the lesbian from "Chasing Amy" plays Pauly's girlfriend and does add a little something to the beginning of the film. She may be why the film even got a ½ star from me.
P.S. I find it appropriate that the highest review recommending this movie on Epinions is written by a member whose picture is of a cat flipping me the bird while wearing a marijuana leaf tee-shirt. This is a very good representative of whom this movie was aimed at.
