Hey Dave, sorry I somehow missed replying to this one...
I agree absolutely, Dansen was great in this and I hadn't realised just how good an actor he was. Worth seeing for that alone!

along with being a great adaptation of swifts story, it showed that Danson is much more than a comic actor. A great review of a great production...Dave

I'd never heard of the 1-hour version either, but according to IMDB there was one in the US - presumably only aired as a one hour show?
Anyway do make sure you get the "proper" version! :-D

I really liked this when it first aired. I should pick up a copy to watch with the kids. There's really a one hour version?? What is it, just the ads from the original? They can't have fit anything into an hour!
Well, I guess I'll have to make sure not to pick up that copy....;)
