The preacher's wife is a great family movie! No cussing or violence. That is very rare these days.

One of the reasons that I enjoyed this movie is that I am a preachers wife and I knew where Whitney's character was coming from. In the movie the preacher gets so wrapped up in the church that he forgets about the care and attention that his wife and son needs. An angel comes from heaven to help the church out and Whitney falls for him. This makes the Preacher realize that he needs to spend more time with his wife and in the end he does so.

The music in the film is great also. Of course it's mostly sung by Whitney and she can't mess up any song. After seeing the movie I had to go buy the soundtrack. My favorite song is Help is on the way.

I recommend this movie to everyone. If you know a preacher's wife think of her while you are watching the movie and you will see some of the everyday struggles that she has to deal with.
