Thedude's Full Review: Swingers
This has got to be the greatest clubbing movie ever made. I idolize and relate to the characters in this movie at the same time. I wish I could be a cool swingin guy hittin parties and clubs nightly, meeting beautiful women along the way while having all the confidence in the world, a la Vince Vaughn (Trent). But then I relate to Jon Favreau (Mike) as kind of a nice, shy guy who can't seem to find a girl who will like him for him.
The movie basically follows Mike, Vince, and 3 of their friends clubbing and hanging out at parties. The guys have there pre-party rituals and are so cool, that you wonder if there are really people like that in LA or NY. This movie definitely should be seen once by anyone, it's a fun, entertaining, too cool to be bad movie. Maybe it will bring out the swinger in you.
