Filled with action, great dialogue and unique characters, First Contact is a must for true Star Trek fans.
The special effects are truly a wonderous site from the very beginning sequences to the very end. The make up artist did an accurate job of repeating the Borgs with taste and that touch of eerie humanized effects. I truly appreciated the sadistic queens appearance of being put together. She made the whole movie for me.

The music was a wonder, and I always enjoyed Goldsmith's talent. Each piece is beautiful and fits in wonderfully with each scene.

The characters were great. Not our usual Enterprise characters, but the new ones such as the drunkard pilot that is responsible for the "first contact" with aliens. (a little special something on how the whole Enterprise thing started, and a sneak peek at Spock's father (I think))

This is a movie for the whole family. My son just started to get interested in science fiction, and I thought an introduction to Star Trek was the best. From a kid's POV, this movie rocks!
