I've been trying to put in a request to my video store to get this film in stock for quite a while now without much success........ I think I ought to try again. This film definitely sounds very bizarre!

Al,
Thanks for the kindly words! Here's hoping we meet again after next year's show (which I'm working on right now-- well, these days). I'm delighted by the analogy between Celine and Julie, and the Paper Bag Players... What a compliment!

I couldn't hold up under the tedium of Celine and Julie... Perhaps the time wasn't right.

We loved your show and it was obvious that all those in the jam-packed auditory did as well. So spirited, clever, and up-lifting. Your work on the keyboard was superlative and you're quite a talented composer as well. How do you manage to act (in your facial expressions) like you're seeing it all for the first time, every time. Come to think of it, The Paper Bag Players have a bit of the absurdist element of Celine and Julie. We all had fun, on the way home, debating which skit we enjoyed the most!

Greetings, Sir.
An excellent review on one of my all-time favorites. Your discussion covers many of the layers embedded within the film. I find new things with each viewing. I'm glad you gave it the 5 stars and 5-star Metalluk treatment.

P.S. I'm delighted you and yours made it to the show. We were also on ABC (local)-- perhaps you caught us again?
