My Best Friend's Wedding is a fun, feel good movie that almost any girl will like. Granted, it is a typical rom-com but it does have its own flair. It will make you laugh, sing along, and become invested in the fate of the main characters. 

Julie Roberts is great as the leading lady, a food critic who realizes she is in love with her best friend (Dermott Mulroney) right after he becomes engaged to another woman (Cameron Diaz). Upon this revelation, she jumps on the first flight to Chicago in a quasi-psychotic attempt to gain her friend's affection. 

Once she arrives in Chi-Town, she is immediately bombarded by Diaz who exlaims that she wants Roberts to be her Maid of Honor. A few unusual circumstances have left Diaz without a MOH and it seems only fitting that Mulroney's best friend step up to the plate. Roberts can only see this as an invitation to get right in the middle of their relationsihp. 

The chemistry between Roberts and  Mulroney is great and you can't help but cheer on Roberts as she tries to break up the upcoming wedding. She will go to any length to see that the man of her dreams chooses her. The question is...will he?
