A Kindler, Gentler Sandler by scott29 | Dec 07 '00 Pros: Fun 80's soundtrack, random Sandlerisms, a sweet Drew B., and a wacky supporting cast. Cons: Watered-Down Sandler, made more PC for the Chick Flick-lovers!

Is Sandler an actor? (Reply to this comment)
by cathieanne
I firmly maintain that The Wedding Singer is the only acting Adam Sandler has done to date. Which is not to say that I don't enjoy Billy Madison and (my personal fav) Happy Gilmore, but he's become a one trick pony. It's become the same movie, with different moronic voices. The Wedding Singer is the closest he's ever come to acting.

He looked like he was on .... (Reply to this comment)

... quaaludes in this movie. Some people say he knows he can't really carry the lead in a movie. I do get the impression in this that he's kind of shrugging it off.
