I'm always open to watching new horror movies. Some of them are fun to watch anyway, because instead of being scary, which was their original intent, they're funny, because they weren't well produced or written. Bleeders is a movie that isn't even funny. I feel bad for the people who made this movie and spent as much as they must of have spent to make those little creatures that weren't very scary at all. I spotted this movie in the middle of the horror section, and the cover really attracted me. Then I read the plot outline and that, too, enticed me into to. But little did I know this supposed "scary movie" wasn't going to be what I expected. Not in the least bit.
A long time ago on a B-rated movie set far far away, a gigantic mansion rests on a small island. There was a beautiful woman who was so obsessed with her looks, she wanted to love herself, but not being able to, she loved her twin brother, creating a new breed of creepy creatures that were locked inside the mansion, and a man, who was part of that incest background, was sent away because he came out normal, but with a strange disease he has that is blood related, he goes back to his "home town" in hope to find out how he might cure his odd disease. It started out pretty interesting. I actually thought it might go somewhere good, but sadly, it left me a sad, smelly, no good, very bad pool of disappointment. That's what you get for renting a movie you've never heard of.
If this movie would have been more developed or maybe the plot turned around in different ways, or maybe if it had a bigger budget, it would have been a whole lot better. Sadly, I had to see it at its low point. I don't recommend seeing this, unless you like the idea of incest and there are a few sex scenes, so maybe perverts with plenty of time on their hands might like it. This movie bombed, nevertheless.
