This movie has a rating of 2.5 out of 5 stars on NetFlix. But after reading your review I added it to my queue, anyways.

Girl, you are one heck of a storyteller!
I loved reading this review. Even though I prefer Monster Movies, which to me are great fun. I collect the early horror films, from the 1930's. They are naive and endearing, from a time when people actually fainted in movie theaters.(From fright!)
The only thing that really scares me is watching CNN.
Great review.

I passed on renting this video at least two times. I picked it up, read the jacket, and wondered if I should give it a try. A 4-star recommendation... well, that makes this one sound pretty good. Especially for Halloween.

... I just watched the recently released Boogeymen, a collection of scenes, well 1 scene per flick, from the scariest "boogeymen" on film. I was thrilled to see that they had a clip from The Ugly in it as well as all the other's you would normally expect.

Nice to see The Ugly getting some attention.
I first saw it a few years back and was really impressed by it--and disappointed that so few people had actually seen or heard of it.
I've never gotten around to writing about it, myself, but it's definitely one of my favorite serial killer flicks.
