Pros: Reba McEntire ~ Based on true story ~ Great Acting
I have been a Reba McEntire fan for over ten years now. She is the singer that got me listening to country music. I enjoy her music, her movies and her hit TV show Reba. She has a lot of talent as a singer and an actress. I decided to spend time this afternoon watching the movie Forever Love that she starred in. It was originally a CBS television movie.
Lizzie and Alex meet each other, fall in love and then marry. They have a daughter named Emma. Lizzie and Alex are best friends with Gail and Jerry. Lizzie has a stroke and goes into a deep coma. Year after year Alex and Emma take care of Lizzie. After Jerry passes away, Alex and Gail find themselves getting really close. Both have essentially lost their mates and they turn to each other for comfort. After being in a coma for twenty years Lizzie comes out of it. Everyone is surprised because they never expected it. She awakens to find her whole world has changed. Lizzie feels like an outsider regarding her own family. Her little girl is now a twenty-two year old woman. Both of her parents are dead. Her best friends husband has passed. Lizzie and Alex feel like strangers. Lizzie catches on that Gail is in love with Alex and she leaves town to think about things.
Does Lizzie end up coming back? Does Alex decide he wants to be with Lizzie or Gail? Can Lizzie and Alex make up for twenty years of lost time or do they decide to just give up on their relationship?

I really enjoyed this movie. I really like Reba a lot so it was no surprise to me that I would like this movie. It is a drama. Reba sings her song Forever Love in the movie. You will hear her singing a couple of other times as well. That is fitting since she has such a beautiful voice. Reba and the other actors did a great job in this movie.
This movie is based on a true story, which made it even more enjoyable for me. I love to read books and watch movies based on actual events. This movie is unrated, but I would personally give it a PG rating. There was no bad language in it. I would not have minded if my nine-year-old son watched it. I would have been a little embarrassed during one sex scene that was included. It was really quick though and didnt show much. Still, I get embarrassed easily.
Most anyone that likes decent family drama movies should enjoy this movie. The actors did a great job in their roles. They were really into their roles and made them believable for me. The story was believable for me as well. This is not a movie just for country music fans. It is a movie for anyone that wants to see a decent movie without so much bad language and violence. There was no mention of anything religious in the movie. I think it was a really well made movie. I am really glad that I watched this movie.
