This movie was one of the best war movies I have ever seen for the fact that it didn't glorify the blood and killing. It was brought across as a painful act for the soldiers to kill as well as their comrades being killed. As a Marine, this movie in my opinion puts more realism into the hardships of war than others that glorify it all. Tom Hanks was outstanding in his roll, as well as the rest of the cast in theirs. In short, this movie has everything. Laughs, Crys, Scares, and the most important, realism.
