Allright! I would like to talk about the best war movie I've ever seen in my opinion. This movie was internationally acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, Steven Spielberg's movie Saving Private Ryan is an unforgettable film that has profound and lasting impact throughout the world. Did ya'll know that this movie was a winner of five Academy Awards for like Best Director, Cinematography, Film Editing, Sound and Sound Effects Editing? There was more than 70 critics and critics' group in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, and of course Dallas! Big D! in the house! And many many more to be unamed. Steven Spielberg received his third Directors Guild of America Award, the American Legion Award, a USO Merit Award, and as well as the highest civilian public service award from the Department of the Army. This movie is so good in my opinion because it was seen through the eyes of a squad of American soldiers, and the story begins with World War II's historic D-Day invasion, then moves beyond the beach as the men embark on a dangerous special mission. Tom Hanks as Captain John Miller must take his men behind enemy lines to find Private Ryan, whose three brothers have been killed in combat already and the rest you'll have to see for yourself. This movie is far more better than "Thin Red Line". So if you haven't seen this movie you should really check it out especially on DVD.
