This is one of my three favorite movies of all times. It is dramatical and is filled with action. The action parts are great and make the movie a definite one to see. It is one of those movies that the characters are great and it makes it a great movie.
I love the sniper in the movie. Before he kills a man he quotes the bible. Also there is the medic. He is a man who wants to rush out to the battle field blind to the enemy just to make a man feel more comfortable. And then there is the translator. He is the cowardly type that ends up getting someone killed in the end. That was the most painful part of any movie that I had ever seen. He had the power to save the man but was to scared to fight when the German guy drove a knife into the American very slowly.
This story is a great depiction of what really was going down in World War II. The action scenes and the part where they had to save private Ryan. This is a great story that deserves even more than five stars
The movie has a lot of ups and downs and is a dramatical roller coaster. I saw it five times at the theaters and now own it on DVD and VHS.
This is a great movie for anyone even if they don't like war movies. Because it's fun and is NEVER boring. This would make a great gift for Christmas for anyone.
