jimmyboy's Full Review: Saving Private Ryan
One of the few movies that i have seen more than once in a theater. I have a hard time thinking that this movie would be half of what it is on the small screen. The theater added to the emotion and trying to transport you to the scene. It was exceptionally brutal and violent giving it some viability when reviewing war. While a few of the personnalities were pulled out of the "way over used" box most were refreshing and well played. Be prepared to get pulled into the emotions of the characters and the reality of war that the heroic soldiers on whatever side had to live. For this movie also helps promote slightly that it is the soldier that gives his life for his country regardless of the politition who just talks.
