I have read some reviews not recommending this movie, due to "predictable" or "unrealistic". I cannot fathom that. How can anyone walk away from this movie without being changed forever? I guess they just didn't get the depth of the story.
Edward Norton was phenomenal. I haven't missed any of his movies. This one was one of his most thought provoking movies. His intense acting ability is like nothing I have seen. Yes, the movie does have some extremely graphic scenes, some of which I had to turn my head. But, I walked away with such a message, it is indescribable.
Keep up the great work!

I also believe this is the best film of the 90s, if not all time. Norton's performance, likewise, is unbeatable.
I'm so glad someone could say exactly what I tried to about the film, but with so much more compassion. I wish this wasn't one of the first reviews I wrote when I joined epinions, because I could express my feelings so much better about it now.

I think you did a good job on your review, I couldn't get past my personal disappointment at the horror to write a review and I have watched this movie with many teens 15 -18 and lead deep discussions. The wounds it touches like salt... but hopefully lessons can be learned from it. j

Along with my HR I must say that I agree. This was one of the most enlightening movies I have seen in a long time. It is a must see for today's society. Good job.

I've never even heard of this movie, much less anything about it. Thank you so much for sharing. It sounds like one that all teens should see. You've given just enough information to make it sound interesting, but not enough to give it away. (It's the carrot thing, right?). I'm off to rent this one!

Sounds to me like you accomplished your goal.
It also sounds like a perfect movie for the high schools in my community. Unfortunately, there is a lot of racism and too many kids glorify crime and violence.
