The Matrix Is in my opinions not only one of the best movies Keanu reeves has ever starred in, but one of the best action adventure/science fiction movies of all time. no matter how often i watch this movie, I'm always at the end of my seat in anticipation as to what's next (although I already know).
Keanu Reeves does an awesome job acting out his role of Neo, a loner computer hacker who devoted his life to searching out the matrix. Keanu does an incredible job making you fell like your right there with him on his journeys.
As for Lawrence Fishburne, what can I say, as always he's awesome. I don't think I've ever seen a movie starring him, and not enjoyed it. the Matrix is no exception. As Morphious, the leader of the ship that the movie concentrates on, he leads Neo and the crew on a journey that will forever change their fates.
Although this movie is an incredible work of film-making, it tends to be a little confusing the first time through. This movie contains hundred upon hundred of details that all show you what's going on once you figure them out. Also, to this day, after watching the movie almost 50 times now, I am still disappointed with the ending. Although it does lead into the planned sequel, it doesn't leave the viewer with a full sense of closure.
If you like action adventure/science fiction movies, then The Matrix is a must see. However if you want to fully understand the movie, i suggest watching it at least twice.
