Before I saw this movie, I thought that a matrix was something that I’ve forgotten about from 11th grade pre-calc. That does also apply, but I prefer the matrix from the movie over pre-calc any day.
This movie was intense from the start. You’ve got the opening scene where Trinity is running across the walls and defying gravity. Then you’ve got the scene where Neo’s computer is waking him up. And then, one of the grossest scenes, the one where the agents have Neo in their office and they actually bug him, this computer-like creature that looks like a huge shrimp burrows itself into Neo’s bellybutton. Good thing he didn’t have it pierced.
So then Neo is recovered by Trinity and other workers for Morpheous. He is taken to see Morpheous, and he chooses the red pill to see how deep the rabbit hole goes. From this point on, the movie is far out. You have to see it at least three times to fully comprehend what they are talking about. My favorite part is when Neo goes to see the Oracle, and the little boy with the awesome accent says “There is no spoon”. But the best part of the movie has to be the last half hour of the movie. This is when most of the kick ass scenes take place. But by far, the ending is absolutely amazing when he sees the matrix in code and he stops the bullets, I was flipping out when I saw the ending, it is AWESOME.
“The Matrix” is just an amazing movie. It has romance, suspense, great action, and tons of sci-fi. It had me jumping up and down like crazy because of the suspense, good thing I saw it in my dorm room and not in the theater. Even though my parents didn’t like it, I thought it was great and everybody else should too.
