I think your review was right on, but I take exception to your comment that this is "for women only". Yes, I know that some movies definitely fall into the "chick flick" category and I'm fine with that. This movie however was sappy, corny and manipulative, and any woman with any sense (which is MOST women) figured that out that right away.

and I just watched it tonight. What a tearjerker! I was quite disappointed with the ending, but very glad I saw it, kind of long though.

Unfortunately, this movie lacked the obligatory HEA (happy ever after)ending found in romance stories. The hero dies.

i think your review was excellent and I have to rate it as such. I would take out one minor deatil. Telling about Penn and Costner never seeing eachother again after he finds out why she tracked him down and the final message. People might not want to know that ahead of time. :)
