YES! Without a doubt, this is my pick for movie of the year.
Sure, I loved American Beauty, but no other film was as stunning as this one.
I really didn't know what to expect, but on a friend recommendation, I picked up the Iron Giant DVD (Widescreen is very effective in this flick),
expecting a semi-kiddie flick. Trust me folks...while the kids may enjoy it, this is well suited to adults. A gripping storyline, with top notch voice acting and animation, makes this a real winner.
If your looking for that special gift this Holiday season, for the science fiction or animation fan, (heck, just a good movie fan!)
pick up The Iron Giant. You won't be sorry.

And as some of the other reviewers have said, this film was criminally overlooked.
