What a great movie, another well done cartoon by someone other than Disney!
Like The Prince of Egypt it is wonderfully scattered with beautiful people of many sorts and sizes, not just Barbie type heroines. It had context, a great story about friendship and realizing who you are regardless of your surroundings and circumstances. I was very impressed and enjoyed it greatly!
Being the child at heart that I am, I was at the edge of my seat (or should I say tailgate since I was at the drive in!) in excitement. Moved, humored, touched, saddened, worried, elated... what a jumble!
In the end, the moral is obvious and true. One learns to let go of what it what it truly wants most... that’s the hardest lesson of them all, but they pulled it off beautifully in the show.
