Okay this one was picked out by my guy(Don), too. I'm not much of an Arnold fan, but who is these days?
I have to say that I did not go see this in the theater. It was at home after the Millenium which this whole movie's plot is based around therefore it was unreal to me. I'm pretty much burnt out on the Millenium so it was kind of annoying to me (sorry Arnold).
This is another one of those movies that use the story line of: Satan is making his appearance to impregnate a human wife to open the gates of hell and reak havok on the world. Now that being said if the plot doesn't sound interesting then you probably won't like the movie.
People kept dying then coming back to life by joining up with Satan and doing favors for him. If you don't like that type of plot you wont enjoy this movie. Satan is so powerful in this movie- yet he cannot get his hands on this girl. It's another one of those movies where the bad guy lets the hero live (again and again) even though he keeps protecting the girl from him.
Okay the special effects were kind of lacking, too. Sorry to all the 50% who liked the movie, but I was disappointed. Usually the movies Arnold is in have better explosions, and action scenes.
All in all it is a movie- Not terrible not great. I give it a 3 stars rating. I think seeing it once is okay, but we wont be seeing it twice here ;).
