I won't spoil the movie for you below, these are just a couple of my favorite scenes! There are two scenes that come to mind when I think of women smiling while watching this movie, here they are!

Walrus?
One of the hockey players is boasting to his friends about sleeping with one of town girls, and he mentions she is fatter naked than most people think. He states that it's like doing a walrus, and says "Thwap! Thwap!" He goes on and on (in quite bad language) ... Another team member does her as well, and tells her what the first team member said. The next time the first team member goes over to her house (probably to Thwap her some more!) She hits him twice over the head with a heavy shovel! yay! Girl Power! If only that were legal...

The Jockstrap...
And so, the second team member's punishment for telling the girl is to skate around naked except for a jockstrap. Oh God. I would pay to see my fiance do that... Then he has to slide on his rear end (wouldn't that stick to the ice?) into the snow bank. Oh man, it's actually done on the movie! Wow... he's all pink and everything.

And so!
And so, if you have nothing to do with the girls all weekend, and want a few cute looks and gasps, rent Mystery Alaska! Some cute guys, and some laughs :)

A little movie plot for those that want it.
If you are interested in getting a little bit of plot, read on. A hockey team in Alaska just enjoys playing around. They don't use side boards, and they have all kinds of different rules. A former town member, newly hot shot gets an American hockey team to come and play the Alaskan team. They practise in hopes of beating the NHL team and showing the world that they can play hockey as good as anyone.

The NHL team eventually comes, and things start out fairly well for the Alaskans, until it seems that they have been "had" and that the other team had let them win.

At the end, a couple of the team players get invited into the NHL. It's quite a good story. If you live in a small town, it might just make you think that it could happen to you :)
