Pros:Gripping suspense, has you wondering
Cons:May be too graphic and violent for some

Final Destination is a movie that will have you wondering, wanting more, and giving you the urge to run out of the theatre all at the same time.

It starts out in the room of Alex Browning, played by Devon Sawa. He's preparing to leave on a class trip to France, but bad omens keep popping up all over the place. First, his mom rips off his lucky baggage tag, and then his clock flashes from 1:00 to 180 (his flight number). Before getting on the plane he is very scared and anxious, but then is reassured by the crying baby and handicapped person on board. His best friend Tod Matthews, played by Chad E. Donella, tells him that God would be pretty screwed up to crash this plane. Think again.

Once he finds his seat the plane takes off, and then they start experiencing a little turbulence. Nobody thinks too much of it, but then the plane starts going down. About half-way through this vivid experience, it goes right back to when he sat down. He goes screaming around the cabin yelling, "The plane's gonna crash!", over and over. So, they kick him off the plane, and about 6 other people go off with him. Including his enemy Carter, played by I>Kerr Smith</I>; Carter's girlfriend Terry, played by Amanda Detmer; their French teacher Ms. Lewton, played by Kristen Cloke; a girl that believes Alex named Claire Rivers, played by Ali Carter; Billy Hitchcock who was late for the plane, played by Seann William Scott; and finally Tod.

Once off the plane, everyone is yelling at Alex complaining that it is his fault they will not be able to go to France. A few seconds later, the windows implode and they see the plane go down. Then the FBI comes and talks with all the people that got off. Meanwhile, there is a service for all of the other students that died on the plane.

A few days after, his best friend Tod dies in his shower by slipping on a puddle and getting tied up in some chords. Because of the way he died, the police and his parents think it was a suicide for the reason that his brother died on the plane crash. Alex and Claire visit the morgue to see him, and they are greeted by a shady character. He explains to them that death has a plan and a pattern. He tells them that nobody can escape death.

In the next few weeks, Alex figures out the patter. I won't go into that, because you should see it for yourself, but it will definitely screw with your head. In the meantime, a few more people die in very gruesome ways.

You will have to see the movie yourself, and I don't want to ruin the rest for you. Finally, Final Destination is a very entertaining movie that will leave you wondering.
