Gotenks's Full Review: Dragon Ball Z - Trunks: Mysterious Youth
HEEEEEEEEEEYYY KIIIIDDDDSSS !!!!! It'same, Gotenks! I knew I couldn't stay away from video reviews for long!! Woohoo, I love this tape and the recent episodes on TV as well! I'll be commenting on both of them.
The tape itself is great. It contains the chopping of Freeza by Trunks,
a boy who has a rather large fan-base. Turns out he is a Super Saiyajin (like Goku) and has come from the future to warn them of the Androids.
The androids are a terribly evil force that has destroyed Trunks' world - so he came back in time to stop them in this world.
Meanwhile, the voices.. are.. GOOD!? Nooo! Can't be! But is. Trunks has a really cool voice. Krillin is, um, annoying still.. but.. that can't be fixed, I guess. Vegeta.. well, I'm used to his raspy voice by now, so he's pretty good. While not on the tape, Goku has a great new voice, almost as good as Ian Kelley's (his first US voice actor).
There's fighting, as usual in DBZ, in this tape, and some Freeza Slicing. The uncensored version is good (there isn't a LOT of blood in this episode) for the whole family, basically.
Now on to the latest TV episodes! Wow, they are great!! #18 and #17 have some of the best voices on the show, and #16 is pretty darn good too. I hope Cell gets better, but for now he is standable. Basically, I can't believe it, but.. uh, yay Funimation! Go! Fight! For everlasting peace! Uh, Mega Man flashback, there.. anyways, yeah, Funimation is doing a good job, now!
