To me, Frequency is a story about second chances, I don't know about you but there are quite a few things in my life I'd like a second chance at, and this movie shows about a father and a son who was presented with that choice, and they took it, even though there are consequences because of their actions, and what result is a story book ending that makes you feel good. Dennis Quaid gives the best performance, a loving father, a fighter and one that rises to the occasion. James Caviezel was equally brilliant as he were in The Thin Red Line, a cop who has nothing going for him, but was able to restore the father-son relationship that he never had before.
Frequency touches on the subject of time travel and a little of parallel universe, these are definitely confusing topics and one we have not completely figure out, but I thought the movie did a good job covering its tail, to me I felt it was very logical.
I love Frequency, its got action, suspense, comedy and a heart warming look into the relationship between a father and a son. The movie is also very smart, along with a very interesting premise/idea, I'm sure everybody can find something to like about this movie. Trust me, run and don't walk to see Frequency, and I'll definitely be getting on DVD :P
