I wanted to see this movie due to a personal connection I had with the film. I in many ways understood losing a father and not truly remembering who he was. And just wishing for one moment that I could change the course of history to bring him to me.
That is what Frequency is all about. The bonding of a father and son who lost that chance when his father was killed in a fire. But along with all of the bonding comes a suspenseful tell of what can change when we dabble in the unknown. And how responsible we all are for our own fate and others.
Dennis Quaid performed one of his best in this film. I truly think that it was the most believable it could get without going overboard.
The only down side of the movie is the lack of knowledge we do have about time travel. It gets a little vage in that aspect.
But all in all Frequency rates high with me. So go see it and enjoy the idea of being able to change on second that we wish never happened. One moment that could make our mark on the world
