I just went and saw "Scary Movie". Since I have seen all the movies that it was spoofing, the television commercials for the movie peaked my interest and made me want to see it. Well, other than a few funny bits it was terrible. The Wayan's brothers are much more talented than this mess.
This is a definitely a teenager's movie, but the language and the sexual inuendos are more than a younger teenager should see. The movie is rated "R" , which allows an adult to take children under 17 to see these movies, and it should be rated "NC17", which would allow only people 17 and over to see the movies. The look of shock on some parent's faces as we were leaving said it all. Maybe some of you will enjoy it. I didn't. But if you are looking for a night out to waste some time then this is the movie for you. I give it one star out of four.
