I have to say, this is a nice series. Picture quality could be better, but overall it's really good. Doesn't sugar-coat what serving was like while at the same time being quite inspirational.

Bernard Cornwell wrote some very good books and then started writing the Sharpe series. That was when I quit reading him because I didn't enjoy the Sharpe stuff.
