I've been reading the reviews of this movie, Loser. I watched it on a rented DVD, and then bought it the next day. It's an incredibly good movie. I watched the video first, and thought the video clips were taken from the movie, but they weren't. I like it when actors take time to do the actual video as well.

If I could change:
If I could change anything about the movie, it would be his haircut, and her eye makeup. I know that his haircut was meant to make him look like more of a loser, which it did. But I felt they could do it in other ways. Every time I looked at him, I thought about how much of a loser he was, and that he needed a haircut. Same with her eyeliner. She could sure use some lessons with a make-up artist. (I don't think her personal make-up artist for that movie will be getting very much work! FYI-Make up artist is Patricia Green! Keep a look out!)

The plot was good, it made me think of my high school years. I wasn't popular, or anything, but there was one person who kind of admired me like she was admired. It was funny as well.

My favorite scene.
I can't pinpoint my favorite scene right now, but definitely one of the top few was when he was studying and his roommate comes in at the beginning of the song "Pretty fly for a white guy." Anyway, the roommate spanks himself. It was interesting...

Minor plot.
Paul gets a scholarship to NYU. He tries to fit in by making friends, but tries too hard and is regarded by his roommates (and most others in the movie) as a Loser. He stumbles into one of his classes, and sits next to Dora. She's having an affair with the professor, who turns out to be having similar affairs with other students as well. (this is just a minor scene, where another girl comes out of his office disheveled.) Of course, they end up together, and the movie turns out wonderfully, with her leaving Professor Alcott.
