Guys I will warn you, ITS A CHICK FLIK, as you so loving call the movies your girlfriends drag you to because we just can't seem to pass this kind of film up. Girls will love this film, it has the right amount of sappiness and plot. It is a quite believable story, yes it has its events that seem unlikely, but don't most movies?

Jennifer Lopez plays a wedding planner, a girl who longs for her own wedding happiness so much that she makes it come true for others. She is a professional that believes in her job, she is prepared for any wedding emergency, except for falling in love with the groom of the biggest account of her career. She has to prove to herself that she is a professional by planning her own doom, the perfect wedding for the man she loves as he gets married to someone else.

Matthew McConaughey plays the groom. He has a smile to melt hearts and the soft accent to go with it. His acting is great and he is perfect for this part. He some how comes across as a guy in love with someone other than his bride to be without coming across as a jerk.

I thought the plot was well written. There are various subplots, like Mary's(Lopez) father trying to set her up with an old childhood friend, that add to the movie rather than take away from it. I thought the casting well done, all the actors played their parts well. I thought the directing well done and the plot well written. It probably won't win an Oscar, but it is a good "girl movie." Its a good one to see for valentine's day or on a girls night out.
