Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie's plot.
Wull, I ben gone a while into the inner parts of Mike.Holmes brane but after he saw this here moovie he kinda figgered that I cood rite about it 'cause I reely don't have no memory at all much less a short term one.
Mike.Holmes also chickuned out when he seen that 117 epinions had dun ben writ about this film incloodin' sum by peeple like Susan Granger, Macresaft1 and manquitto. But he don't mind me makin' a fool of my own self so here we go.
The moovie is reel intrestin' but it's dun with wot my old grandpappy, Ferdie F. Fuddplucker the Fourth, used to say "bassacwards". I don't meen that everbody walks and talks backards like we use to do with old home moovies and laff our heads off. Wot I meen is the story starts at the end and mooves backards 'til the beginnin'. Kinda.
You see, this guy named Leonard Skinner (played by Guy Pearce) thinks his wife has ben raped and murdered by sumbody called John G. But wen this happened the killer also hit Leonard on the head and hert his brane so's he coodn't member short term. Now I ken understand that cuz sumtimes I ken't member if'n I got my pants on and it gits kindy 'barrassin' walkin' in the mall and lookin' down to see wot other peeples are lookin' at.
Anyhow, cents Leonard don't 'member diddley, he rites tattoos all over his body with clues about the murder and he takes pitchers of things like peeple and Motels whar he's astayin'. This guy named Teddy (Joe Pantoliano) sez he's Leonard's frend and later sez that he is either a snitch fer the cops or a cop his own self. Leonard don't know wot to beleeve.
Leonard meats this good lookin' gal named Natalie who works in a bar (played by Carrie-Ann Moss from Matrix) and they commence to stayin' together. Once agin, Leonard don't know if Natalies is a frend or fo cuz she's mixed up with a drug deeler who's meaner than a riled up porkypine.
Thruout the moovie, Leonard keeps thinkin' 'bout the days wen he wuz an insurance 'vestigator and worked on a case whar the man had short term memory loss. He even has a tattoo that sez "Remember Sammy Jankis" on his rist. Sammy (Stephen Tobolowsky) ends up in a mess cuz he can't 'member how much medicine to give his wife.
Anyhow, I don't want to give much more away if'n I've given anythang away. The director of the moovie is Christopher Nolan and the story is based on his brother Jonathan Nolan's short story. I reely wanted to see it agin but it wuz only heer fer a few days. To tell ya the trooth, I ain't shore wot I seen but it wuz filmed reel good with black and white parts as kinds flashybacks.
The actin' is good. The ritin' is good and so's the filmin'. Jest cuz it's diffrent, peeple shooldn't be afeered to see it. Diffrent is good. You need to see and make up yore own mind.
