Why ruin a good movie with the lack of sparks between Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt? First, the name of the movie would better along the lines of The Gun, I find it an affront to Mexican Americans everywhere for the title as it has nothing to do with this proud people.

Julia's kidnapper nearly steals the movie with his performance. There were more sparks between him and Julia's character. A more interesting movie would be with their two characters. Brad Pitt stinks up the joint. He has peeked as an actor.

The plot drags in so many places. Half way through, I find myself wanting it all to be over. Is this really a romance? Or a confusing farce??

I can recommend it only for Julia and only when it comes out on video.
