Pros:The boys aren't too bad to look at (if you like cowboys)
Cons:Cheesy story line, the historical inaccuracies.
The Bottom Line: Wait for this one on video. It may be worth a couple bucks to rent, but not $8-10 to see in a theater.
Plot Details: This opinion reveals no details about the movie's plot.
Well, living in the western states for the summer, I had to go see the wild-wild western of the summer flicks. My first thought when I saw Frank and Jesse James was "I wouldn't mind riding off into the sunset with one of them." My second thought was, "Their teeth are much too nice to be cowboys." I'm not a western story gal. I thought the story line was weak, the script cheesy, and the actors a little over the top. I never believed these people to truly be cowboys. But, there were some funny moments, and it was a good no-brainer flick. You don't have to do any heavy thinking, and it's not really suspenseful. The love theme was extremely ridiculous, and the female actor (though pretty) needs to get some acting lessons. Think soap opera poses..... The ending is very predictable, so I won't even get into any details about that. All in all, there are better things to spend your money on (unless you like looking at cowboys).
