I've never watched this movie until last night. I knew the movie was going to be pretty good, but I didn't expect how great the movie really was. I enjoyed everything from the animation, sound, story; even the title jazz title sequence was entertaining.

I'm not going to reveal much about the plot except when Sulley was sledding down the snowy mountain, I could have sworn it was a live actor in a big pink and blue monster suit going down the side of Everest. John Goodman and Billy Crystal were easily as good as the animation. They had a great chemistry and it really showed through not only in the dialogue but in the animation. It was amazing how their personalities showed through to the monster's faces and actions. Truly top notch work.

The DVD's special features show off Pixar's love affair with the Xootr scooters. The behind the scenes look is quite entertaining although the scootering does get a little old especially if you're from the Valley (Silicon, that is). Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed the extra bonus DVD with all of it's sweet bonus material.

This is one DVD that should be any collection whether you have children or not.
