Your Baby Can Read is a great idea.  I saw this informercial right before my daughter turned 2 years old (Jan 2009).  I went ahead and ordered it this summer.  My 4 year old took interest, so he whized through the 1st 3 videos and loves the sliding cards & books.  However, both of them CANNOT stand the videos!!!  I can't blame them. It' very dated and very boring.  What they do love about YBCR is the flash cards & the Books.  That portion of the kit was done with quality.  So, we have stopped the video all together (they have a FIT every time I pull it out!!) and we  just use the flash cards & books.  My 4 year old can identify around 40-50 words now.  My 2 year old can care less.  I think this would have been more beneficial if it were introduced at an earlier age.
