This is an animated movie directed by Chris Wedge featuring the voices of such biggies as Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Denis Leary just to name a few. It is the Ice Age and still the animals migrate south to find warmer weather. Not all make is though, for just as humanity has 'misfits' so too does the animal kingdom. A journey side railed by a human baby is only the beginning of the lessons being taught by this wonderful movie! I found the refreshing reminders that we all need to love one another and learn to get along together mixed in with reminders that we must also work together to accomplish great things. I can't think of too many better lessons to teach our world! The amusing adventures of the squirrel trying to crack his nut when everything is icy is just one of many reasons why you'll laugh the tears out of your eyes on this one! I know it's available on DVD and it's chock full of amusing extras you don't get to enjoy on T.V. Available in English and Spanish, the subtitles are wonderful for when you're laughing so loud you miss the words spoken on the movie! Grumpy meets Giddy and they both come out improved! I recommend this to all age groups! If you want to laugh or need to be cheered up or just want to entertain the rambunctious children choose Ice Age to fit the bill!
