Plot Details: This opinion reveals major details about the movie's plot.
Took my 6 year old to a early show. The theater was pretty packed with out of school Friday kids. I could tell by the general laughter, that everyone liked the movie.
There are some lame points as with any movie, but mostly with the story line. Child gets lost, animals find the baby and their goal is to return him to his family.
How we are to believe that a 1 year old can survive artic weather conditions just because he has a mammoth handy is beyond me.
I found the graphics to be flawless, the actors to be humourous and my 6 year old quite entertained. I did get a little bit annoyed with John Leguizamo as Sid the Sloth in the beginning, only because he spoke with some weird lisp, but then I was able to understand him.
I think they should have given Denis Leary as Diego the Sabertooth more freedom, that would have helped but he was suppose to be serious for the most part.
Fun, will be buying the DVD once it comes out.
