Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie's plot.
Last weekend I took my 9 year old daughter and 28 year old sister to see Ice Age. This movie was everything that I thought it would be. It was a fast paced, animated production that made you feel good when it was all said and done.
There was adventure (of course) but the highlight of this show was the comedy.
My daughter loved it, I laughed most of the way through it and so did my sister.
In front of us at the theater there was a couple with a little boy (I would assume about 4 yrs old). In one of the scenes a character dies, for the next 15 minutes or so the boy's parents were trying to explain "what had happened" to this animal.
When we walked out of the theater he was still talking about this.
I would highly recommend this movie for ages 8 to 88, however you may have to do some explaining to children younger than that.
The movie plot overall taught many different moral values in a humorous way.
The two most important in my view, love and friendship.
