From the first image of pre-cogs floating in a vat of liquid & plugged into a database I was disturbed by this film. It was colorless and had no energy. It gave me too many nightmarish images, from eyeballs in a bag & filthy back-ally surgeries, to graphic replays of murders. I had to step out of the theater during one scene since shutting my eyes did not help me escape the torturous sounds of this film.

Tom Cruise has ventured down a nearly Goth path in recent years with Magnolia, Eyes Wide Shut, Vanilla Sky & Interview with a Vampire. All far cries from Rain Man, Top Gun, A Few Good Men & Far and Away. Shows his versatility as a very talented actor! However, this movie gave me the "creeps" in a way no movie has before. Too graphic. Too dingy. A few of the friends I saw it with just found it boring and dull.

I just say skip it in the theater. It'll work fine on your VCR if you're curious.
