Can't agree at all, I was appalled at how trivial this film made the whole issue of domestic violence. Utterly appalling.

Are you still trying to find a laptop?
One Hour Photo is good...I saw that one in the theater. Wonderful performance by Robin Williams.
Hope you can get another computer or something soon so you can get back to watching movies again. :)

I had wanted to see this when I first saw the trailer. I have read some bad reviews of the movie, but I decided to still go ahead and rent it. It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, and it did have some flaws, but I did enjoy it.

I actually watched this movie in the dollar show several months ago and I enjoyed it!!! I was really pulling for her! Not just her butt either.

I like her too.
I know what you mean about the subject was handled in the movie. Slim got out of the relationship soon after he turned abusive towards her..which shows that women can get away from a man like that. They do have choices in the situation.
