After seeing movies, I usually take a moment to reflect about what I have just witnessed. I think about whether it was worth my 9 bucks, and whether I just wasted my life's precious hours. After I saw "Catch me if you can," I did my moment of reflecting, and realized that this movie was worth my while.
Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio blend well on screen. The characters that they play are affable and clever people, far more prominent than the other charecters in the movie. A quick summary about the movie is that it is about a young man who counterfeits checks, and ends up spending millions of dollars.
The movie is sequenced in a random order. You find out that he is caught within the first 10 minutes of the film. Don't despair though. The format was done rightly, and slowly but surly, you will see the beginning and the ending of the stories become closer and closer, until they finally meet, where everything falls nicely into place.
In short, the movie was entertaining, and what makes it all the more intriguing is that it is a true story. Though I doubt that all of the things Frank (Leonardo DiCaprio) does in the movie is true (you can find out by reading Franks autobiography). I am not going to tell what he does to get away from Tom Hanks, but I will say that it is very clever, and downright hilarious.
Therefore, if you want to see a movie that is funny, heartwarming, and dramatic, see this movie. It will be worth your while. It was for me at least.
